Handcrafted Soaps

All of our soaps are handcrafted using the Cold Processed Method. Simply put, we melt oils and butters down, add a mixture of lye and water and blend the whole mess together (while adding ultramarines for color, essential oils or high quality fragrance oils - all of which are Phaylate free!) and pop it into a mold. Over the next few days it solidifies, we cut it, stamp it and let the soap rest for a minimum of 4 weeks before we box it and consider it ready for sale.

All of our soaps are vegetable based, so vegetarians can feel confident in knowing that only plants were harmed in the making of this soap. We use oils like olive, canola, palm (from a sustainable, renewable source!) and coconut.

Real soap is hard to find in the stores now. Next time you head to the store, take a look. What you will find are beauty bars, cleansing bars, deodorant bars and complexion bars. They all contain harsh, cleansing ingredients that actually strip your skin of the moisture barriers that it needs to keep your skin moisturized. This means you end up needing to use more lotions and body butters.
